The journey begins in a traditional dugout canoe that glides up the river into the rainforest. In the village you are welcomed with music and dance, then share a meal of fresh fish and plantain and learn how the community lives today.

Up the river into the rainforest in a traditional Emberá canoe.

Music, dance and stories: the village opens its doors to you.

Fresh river fish with plantain, served the Emberá way.

2:00 PM Crafts and jagua tattoo
Woven baskets, carved wood and the traditional natural tattoo.

Canoe back downriver and drive to your hotel.
